Dr. Keisha Love is currently the Chair of the Department of Psychology at Kennesaw State University. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Kentucky State University, her M.S. in Education with an emphasis in Counseling from the University of Kentucky, and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Before joining the team at Kennesaw State University, Dr. Love spent nine years as a faculty member and Chair of the Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology at the University of Kentucky. A teacher at heart, Dr. Love has taught a variety of courses in ethics, abnormal psychology, psychopathology, cognitive assessment, practicum, and the psychology of career counseling. She has a variety of research interests, with the examination of parental attachments on mental health being one of her primary areas. She has recently broadened her interest to women’s issues in the workplace and the impact of career interventions for underprivileged youth.
