My name is Rebecca Simmons; I reside in Cobb County, Georgia. I received my Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Walden University.
Currently, I am an instructor for Introduction to Psychology at Kennesaw State University, and Internship Graduate Assistant Coordinator for the department of Sociology. I am an active member of the Part-Time Faculty Council of KSU. I served as board member on the Scholarship Selection Committee for Beyond the Boroughs Scholarship Foundation located in New York.
I served as a volunteer with the non-profit organization MUST Ministries in Kennesaw, Georgia serving as Intake Manager. My duties included procuring services for clients seeking food, clothing, and temporary housing assistance. In addition, I served as computer lab assistant, assisting clients with resume building and employment.
My passion is communicating with people, mentoring young adults, teaching human behavior, and writing. My interest lies in the social sciences, specifically in psychology and human services.
My hobbies include going to the museum, theater and listening to classical music. I love church fellowship and my faith in God is what drives me.
